1 package small red beans
1 ham steak
2 bay leaves
1/8 cup Pappy's Season Salt
2 Tablespoons Chicken Bullion
Directions:
1. Rinse beans, add to 6 cups boiling water, boil 2 minutes, turn off heat and soak for 1 hour.
2. Rinse beans again. Add to crockpot.
3. Cube ham. Add to crockpot.
4. Add rest of the ingredients, stir. Cook on high for 3-4 hours.
5. Chop 3 stalks of celery. Add to crockpot last hour of cooking.
6. Serve over rice.
I add about a Tablespoon of Tapioca Pudding to thicken the beans!
